FRONT DOOR WEATHER SHIELDS FOR THE TROOPY

VENTILATION WITHOUT THE WEATHER COMING IN

The Troopy has a lot of glass and a cabin that heats up fast in the sun, but cracking the front windows in rain, dust, or wind brings the weather straight inside. Weather shields above the front door windows angle rain over the gap, smooth the airflow over the roof, and let trapped cabin heat escape when the Troopy is parked in the sun. A Troopy with proper weather shields is a Troopy you can actually leave a window cracked in on the school run, at camp, or while parked between stops on a long trip.

SHAPED FOR THE TROOPY FRONT DOOR FRAMES

Each shield is moulded from UV stabilised acrylic that resists yellowing, cracking, and brittleness in the harsh Australian sun. The cut is matched to the exact contour of the Troopy front door window so the shield sits flush against the frame without wind noise or vibration. Mounting uses automotive grade 3M adhesive with a clip system, so no drilling and no permanent damage to the bodywork. The shields are slim enough to maintain full visibility from the driver's seat with no blind spots created.

FRONT DOOR PAIRS FOR HZJ, VDJ, AND GDJ TROOPYS

Troopy weather shield sets cover the two front door windows. The Troopy side and rear quarter windows are fixed glass that does not open, so weather shields are not required there. HZJ78 (1999 to 2007), VDJ78 V8 (2007 to 2023), and GDJ78 2.8L facelift (2024 onward) variants are covered with shields matched to the specific front door window profile of each era. Each listing confirms exact year fitment. Weather shields, bonnet protectors, and headlight protectors are commonly purchased together as a complete front-end and cabin protection package for Troopy builds.
