70 Series Land Cruiser Ladders

Safe Access to the Roof of Your 70 Series

A roof rack without a ladder means climbing onto your 70 Series the hard way, standing on tyres, grabbing gutter rails, and scrambling up the side of the vehicle in a way that damages bodywork and risks a fall. A purpose built rear ladder gives you proper footholds from the ground to the roof so you can climb up and down safely, quickly, and without putting dents in the panels. Whether you are setting up a roof top tent at camp, strapping maxtrax to the rack before a trip, or loading gear on top at the end of the day, a ladder makes every interaction with the roof rack faster and safer.

Steel and Aluminium Ladders Built for Daily Use

Our ladders are constructed from steel or aluminium with durable powder coated finishes that match your roof rack and other exterior accessories. Wide, flat steps are spaced for easy climbing in work boots, hiking boots, or bare feet, with enough grip to handle wet or muddy conditions. Each ladder is designed to sit close to the rear of the vehicle to minimise how far it protrudes, keeping the overall vehicle length as short as possible for parking, reversing, and navigating tight tracks. Most ladders mount to the rear body using existing hinge points or panel locations with the supplied hardware and no drilling into the vehicle required.

Ladders for Troopy, Wagon, and Ute

This collection covers rear ladders for the full 70 Series range. The Troopy requires the tallest ladder due to the height of the Troop Carrier body, the 76 Wagon sits in the middle, and the 79 Series cab is the shortest. Each ladder is designed for the specific rear body dimensions and mounting points of the model it fits. Ladders are available for the VDJ V8 (2007 to 2023) and GDJ facelift (2024 onward) across all variants. A ladder is the natural partner to a roof rack and is almost always purchased at the same time, especially by owners fitting a roof top tent where you are climbing up and down multiple times a day.
